Hello Hello,
My name is Shandra Back and I am a full-time journalism student at Boston University. And I’m also a whenever-I-have-time traveler. My first solo trip when I was 19 was unexpected and unplanned and the best thing I ever did. I got off the plane in Costa Rica and bussed over eight hours to a nudist hostel for my first ever work exchange. That whole bus ride I think I went through every stage of grief! Yet that first trip became the turning point of my life. Now that I’m in college, I find every gap of time to travel. I link it to my studies and my work because, to me, travel is at the core of everything that makes me feel alive.
